Project Ndiyan is a data-driven climate adaptation social enterprise integrating mechanical civil engineering, structured civic labor, and proprietary IoT telemetry networks to optimize urban stormwater drainage corridors across coastal West Africa.  

Founded by Aliyatou Bilal, We are recruiting an elite, foundational cohort of experts to finalize our public utility blueprints and join our executive ministerial delegation in December 2026.  

Note: These are highly selective, fellowship-track roles. Positions are equity-track upon the successful closure of our upcoming institutional seed round.

Project Ndiyan Founding Fellow Role Profiles

-Operations & Partnerships Lead

 Scope: You are the face of the project to stakeholders. You will manage logistics for our December 2026 ministerial delegation, navigate cross-border regulatory frameworks, and build long-term relationships with government officials to secure drainage corridors.

-Lead Civil Engineer (PE)

 Scope: You are our ultimate technical authority. You will oversee hydraulic design, ensure our 45-degree traps meet structural standards, and provide the professional stamp/approval required for public works infrastructure.

-Junior Civil/Mechanical Engineer

 Scope: You are the design engine. You will assist the Lead PE with CAD drafting, hydraulic modeling calculations, and the generation of technical documentation for our pilot installations.

-IT Engineer

 Scope: You are the data architect. You will design and deploy our IoT sensor telemetry network, manage our data dashboard, and develop the interface for our kiosk-based waste collection and neighborhood utility tracking.

-Public & Environmental Health Director

 Scope: You are the impact driver. You will design our workforce safety training, conduct research on vector-borne disease reduction, and quantify the environmental health outcomes of our canal cleaning efforts.
